Shannon O’Hara, an outspoken Christian who Christian Post says is also a worship leader, is getting some serious attention on this season of American Idol.
The 17-year-old recently performed a stripped down version of Katy Perry’s single “Unconditionally” which literally brought Perry to tears.
Perry—who started her career as a Christian singer—told O’Hara, “I know exactly how it feels to be raised in church … You are a secret spiritual ninja.”
O’Hara is now in the show’s top 24. You can see the performance in the video above.
