Serial is back.

The true-crime podcast from the creators of This American Life is hosted by Sarah Koenig and unfolds a true story over the course of an entire season, with a new episode each week. The show takes many different twists and turns through real cases from real courtrooms. Even Koenig usually doesn’t know what’s happening at the end of each story until she gets there herself, not long before you get there with her.

In its third season, Serial is taking you on an inside look from the criminal courthouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

The creators of the show are using this season to look at the criminal justice system as a whole.

The crew spent an entire year inside the criminal courts in Cleveland. Why Cleveland? They let them record everywhere: in courtrooms, judges’ chambers, the prosecutors office, even back hallways. Then the team took it a step further and followed the cases outside of the building into neighborhoods, houses and even prison.

New episodes release every Thursday morning, and once you listen to the season three trailer, you’ll be on board.
