iZombie is a criminally underwatched CW gem about a zombie named Liv who temporarily inherits the memories and personality traits of anyone she eats. She puts all this to good use by getting a job at the morgue and taking a bite out of murder victims to get some clues as to how they died.
Sure, it’s a weird premise, but it’s anchored by an exquisite performance from Rose McIver and features some strong, imaginative writing.
Castlevania
Netflix’s adaptation of the classic video game franchise is getting a lot of buzz. And, if this early look is any indication, it will be a visual spectacle.
The Mighty Ducks
Look, we’re going to be honest. The Mighty Ducks does not hold up as a “good” movie, but if you are looking for the ultimate piece of early ‘90s sports nostalgia, there is no one better to deliver it than Emilio Estevez and his ragtag team of hockey cast-offs.
