For a long time, it’s been rumored that Steven Spielberg would take the reins of Gods and Kings, Warner Bros’ massive budget Moses movie. But Spielberg’s moving on to his long-delayed robot apocalypse dream movie, and Warner Bros is now talking to Ang Lee, who’s fresh off an Oscar win for Life of Pi. In the meantime, Fox is moving ahead with their own Moses epic, Exodus, which has caught the eye of Gladiator helmer, Ridley Scott. For those of you keeping track, that’s two Moses movies, a Pontius Pilate film and a Mary, Mother of Christ film that are all getting Hollywood’s big budget treatment.
