Banksy has struck again. The legendary street artist painted a mural on a building on the campus of Bristol’s Bridge Farm School in the UK after students there voted to name the structure after him. The school has named several houses on the campus after prominent local figures, including the mysterious artist, who some people believe is from the area.
Along with the mural—which was painted while the school was out on an extended break—Banksy also left a note to the students. In addition to thanking the students for naming the house after him, Banksy told them, “If you don’t like it feel free to add stuff, I’m sure the teachers won’t mind.”
He also gave them this piece of advice: “Remember—it’s always easier to get forgiveness than permission.” Heed with caution, kids.
