In an interview with Billboard, multi-genre guru Beck revealed that in addition to his forth-coming record Morning Phase (which drops on Feb. 25), he’ll also be releasing another project in 2014—one that features a collaboration with Pharrell Williams. Though he didn’t reveal too many details about the upcoming project, he said that Pharrell is among a number of big-name artists set to appear on the album. He explained to the magazine, “I had some old songs, and I found the ones that fit together the best, and then I worked on building it, stripping it back, rewriting it and just kept going until I felt like it was getting better and better.” If Pharrell’s recent work is any indication (his vocals have been featured on recent hits including “Get Lucky” and “Happy”), than Beck could be in for some new top-40 recognition …
