
Beck, America’s favorite monosyllabic artist, has announced that his next album will be released exclusively on sheet music, so that fans will have to learn how to play a guitar if they want to hear it. Beck Hansen’s Song Reader will be “released” in December, for anyone to who wants to take a swing at playing it in a Beck-esque manner. This might be the first in a wave of artists looking to subvert the whole illegal download system by releasing albums that can’t actually be downloaded.
