Billie Holiday is the latest in a growing line of musicians to get their own hologram. Doing the heavy lifting is Hologram USA—who will bring Lady Day to the Apollo Theater in November for a series of interactive performances. In addition to singing the blues, the hologram will also act as a guide, providing a history of the storied theater. (The real Miss Holiday made her debut at the venue at the age of 19.) As creepy as this news might be, is it wrong that we’re left secretly hoping for a hologram Billie Holiday and Hologram Tupac duet?
