YoungHoon Kim, the man with the highest recorded IQ in the world, went viral this week after posting about his faith.
“I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life,” he posted on X this week.
As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life.

Earlier this year, Kim also posted on X that earning a bachelor’s degree in Christian Theology (nondenominational) from Yonsei University was “one of the best things” he’s ever studied, as he believes “theology is the ultimate discipline of all fields of study.”
One of the best things I have ever done in my life is earning a BA degree in Christian Theology (nondenominational) from Yonsei University, #1 private university in Asia. I believe that theology is the ultimate discipline of all fields of study.

Kim, a South Korean intelligence researcher, was recognized in April 2024 by the Giga Society—a group reserved for individuals with IQs above 190—as having the highest IQ score ever recorded: a mind-bending 276. He serves as an intelligence advisor to organizations like the World Memory Championships, World Speed-Reading Championship and World Mind Mapping Championship, and he leads the United Sigma Intelligence Association.
In other words, he’s not just smart. He’s really smart.
So if anyone has ever said faith in Jesus is just for the simple-minded, maybe it’s time for them to rethink their position. Or, you know, raise their IQ by about 150 points and try again.
