
Filmmaker Cameron Crowe is returning to subject matter he knows well: rock ‘n roll concert tours. The man behind Almost Famous—a semi-autobiographical movie about touring the country with bands as a young Rolling Stone writer—has partnered with JJ Abram’s Bad Robot production company to make a new comedy series for Showtime about concert roadies. Crowe’s been pretty busy since 2011’s We Bought a Zoo.
