It is officially time to retire the famous internet phenomenon known as the “Mannequin Challenge.”
The online sensation took off earlier this year and has garnered the participation of pretty much everyone including celebrities like Bon Jovi, Adele, and even 2016 Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton.
We all have been glued to our computers to see which celebrity will surprise us next with the fun freeze frame game. We’ve seen noteworthy videos, but thought the greatness of this online stunt had peaked after James Corden’s studio-wide Mannequin Challenge surfaced.
But we stand corrected.
Last night, history was made when this year’s NBA champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers and first lady Michelle Obama uploaded a video of the #MannequinChallenge taking place in the White House. That’s right. The Cavs suited up to pose with the FLOTUS and the internet has truly never seen anything greater.
