Christian Apologist Wesley Huff Says Joe Rogan Is Going to Church Regularly

Joe Rogan—the comedian turned UFC commentator turned host of the world’s most downloaded podcast—is reportedly attending church “consistently,” according to Christian apologist Wesley Huff.

Huff, who appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience earlier this year, shared on the Know What You Believe With Michael Horton podcast that Rogan has remained in contact since the recording and is exploring faith in increasingly serious ways.

“I can tell you for a fact that he is attending church and that has been a consistent thing,” Huff said. “Things are happening.

“He’s a very inquisitive individual,” Huff continued, “and I think for the better, in that he’s communicating with me and other people in his life… who can speak into these issues of reliability and trustworthiness and verisimilitude of something like the pages of Scripture.”

Huff said their conversations have been encouraging, and that Rogan’s questions are anything but superficial.

“I definitely got the vibe that he was mulling over the question about Jesus in a very thoughtful way,” he said.

In fact, Rogan has recently voiced public skepticism about the Big Bang theory, arguing that it’s not unreasonable to consider the possibility of a Creator.

“It’s funny,” he said on a recent episode, “because people will be incredulous about the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but yet, they’re convinced that the entire universe was smaller than a head of a pin and… for no reason… instantaneously became everything?”

Rogan hasn’t made any kind of faith declaration—but for someone with an audience in the tens of millions, even curiosity can start a bigger conversation.
