The Asbury University Revival, which has continued for seven days and counting, has brought in hundreds of visitors to Asbury’s campus, including students from other campuses as well as prominent faith leaders.
Several pastors and Christian leaders from all over the country have flown to Kentucky to witness the revival for themselves and share the experience with followers.
Rich Wilkerson Jr., pastor of Vous Church in Miami, said he spent all night in prayer and worship with students on campus.
Pete Greig, founder of the 24-7 Prayer Movement, shared both his experience at Asbury while also addressing people who may be skeptical of the revival, saying, “when it comes to reports of revival I would far rather be gullible than cynical.”
Author Jon Tyson said that the revival is “a legitimate movement of the Holy Spirit.”
Louie Giglio said he spent hours praying for and with students in the chapel. “Simple. Sovereign. Student-led. Stirring,” he wrote.
Jennie Allen, author and founder of IF:Gathering, shared that she witnessed “an outpouring of the spirit that was humble and right and good.”
