With ratings in the gutter and a world that seems to have moved on to getting news from other sources, CNN is looking to breathe fresh life into its lungs via the one thing that everybody loves: reality tv. Reportedly, CNN has been making the Hollywood rounds, looking for celebrity new junkies who are interested in being part of CNN’s new reality show lineup. Admittedly, it was only a matter of time before the once too-cool-for-school network came down to play in the mud with the rest of television, but they haven’t weighed in the most obvious question about all this yet which is, “what exactly are these shows going to be about?” Will Anderson Cooper have to move in with the cast of The Hunger Games and teach them how to be news reporters? Will Wolf Blitzer have to plan Jennifer Anniston’s wedding? Or maybe we’ll be treated to a celebrity lineup on the exciting new season of So You Think You’re a CNN Correspondant? Lots of possibilities here …
