The Ohio State coach and Make-A-Wish teamed up to give a young Buckeyes fan a day he’ll never forget. Kevin Jones, a 5-year-old boy who has been battling a blood disorder since infancy, has always dreamed of watching the Buckeyes play postseason—and now his dream has become a reality.
Meyer pulled out all the stops for Kevin, including giving him a tour of Woody Hayes Athletic Center, a meeting with J.T. Barrett and Joey Bosa, letting him sit in the locker room and even try on a few Ohio State championship rings. Meyer also surprised the family with an invitation to watch to the the Buckeyes play Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl on New Years Day, effectively making it the greatest day of Kevin’s young life.
