A week after Thom Yorke reminded the world that he is the first and best name in surprise albums, things are looking good. Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes is already one of the year’s best selling albums, with over one million downloads. A BitTorrent representative says that Yorke didn’t want to release exact sales figures, but that confirmed that they are “very happy with what is happening,” which is code for, “we are millionaires.” Of course, this doesn’t even take into account vinyl sales and, given Yorke’s vinyl-crazed fan base, he has probably made a not insignificant amount of money off of records.
