For the first time since allegations of sexual assault recently re-emerged, comedian Bill Cosby has spoken out. New York Post reporter Stacy Brown reached the comedian on the phone, and described him as “upbeat.” He told her, “Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind.” To this point, only Cosby’s lawyer has released statements to the media, denying that claims made by more than two dozen women—dating back decades—that Cosby drugged, sexually assaulted and raped them, were true. Cosby took time to praise his wife for her strength, but kept the conversation with Brown brief, saying, “They don’t want me talking to the media” …
