Daily Show correspondents Samantha Bee and Jason Jones are working on a new sitcom pilot for the cable network TBS. The real-life couple has been developing several concepts for the channel, and the latest is sort of their own spin on National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise. In the show, Bee and Jones play the parents of two young children who road trip to Key West while, according to Deadline, they’ll show even though being stuck in a car together can “lead a family to get on each other’s nerves, precarious situations and interactions with strangers can bring them together again.” Each new season—assuming it gets picked up—would feature a new road trip destination.
