Director/musician/artist/weather man David Lynch is working on a memoir. The Twin Peaks auteur’s book, called Life and Work, is slated to cover work, creative struggles and friendships. Lynch worked on the recollections with help from journalist Kristine McKenna, who interviewed 90 of Lynch’s friends, family members and former colleagues.
“I want to get all the right information in one place, so if someone wants to know something, they can find it here,” Lynch said via press release. “And I wouldn’t do it with anyone other than Kristine; she and I go way back, and she gets it right.”
A 2017 release date is expected. Here’s hoping the whole thing is suitably dark and twisty, and comes with a fine cup of coffee.
