For all Detroit’s many ills, they’ve at least got one thing right: they know how to build a statue. After a long and storied battle to even get the thing approved for the public, officials have finally relented and the Robocop statue is nearing completion. Just look at it. Behold its incredible likeness. The statue’s makers are posting pictures of the statue to whet everyone’s appetite and, hopefully, it’ll inspire a Detroit vacation or a hundred among those of you looking for your summer getaway. And if you’ve already got your summer getaway planned, time to readjust your schedule to some place that has a Robocop statue in it.
