The year was 1992, and Pat Robertson, the conservative televangelist, had Al Gore, the then-Vice President-elect, on his show to talk about… climate change.
Back then, creation care was something conservative Christians actually stood for (you know, the whole “stewardship” thing) and not a partisan issue at all.
