Last night, U2 played a massive show in Paris, and they invited the band The Eagles of Death Metal on stage for a live performance of Patti Smith’s “People Have the Power.” It’s the first time The Eagles of Death Metal have played live since terrorists invaded a Paris concert hall they were performing in, slaughtering 89 fans. Bono told the crowd, “They were robbed of their stage, so we would like to offer them ours.” After the two bands wrapped their Patti Smith cover, EODM, played their song “I Love You All The Time.” HBO will air the entire concert Monday night at 9:00 p.m.
