Former Further Seems Forever, Sense Field Singer, Jon Bunch Has Died

Long-time rock vocalist Jon Bunch has died at the age of 45. Bunch’s career dates back decades, and he has worked with numerous notable bands over the years. Back in 1986, he formed the hardcore outfit Reason to Believe and later Sense Field. He also served as the singer for the indie band Further Seems Forever from 2004-2006, and recorded the album Hide Nothing with the group. Most recently, Bunch had released an album with his new project War Generation. In a statement from Rise Records last night on Facebook, the label said,

We are devastated with the news of the passing of Jon Bunch. He was a great person and of course vocalist. We were lucky enough to sign his band War Generation a couple of years ago but most of you will know him from the bands Sense Field and Further Seems Forever. Rest in peace Jon, you will be missed.

No cause of death has been released. Since his passing, fellow artists and fans have taken to Twitter expressing their disbelief, condolences and memories of Bunch.
