Former Sitcom Star Angus T. Jones: ‘I Was a Paid Hypocrite’

Former Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones has spoken out again about his decision to walk away from the lucrative TV role. The actor, who has since become an active member in the Seventh Day Adventist Church and started rocking a killer beard, told KHOU in Houston, “It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people. I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it and I was still doing it.”

Jones, who is now a student at the University of Colorado, told the news outlet he’s not planning on giving up acting completely, saying he is considering doing some “Bible-based stories” in the future.
