George Lucas, director of the world’s favorite and least favorite trilogies, gets a lot of flack. His most recent move—selling off the company that is his namesake—has drawn mixed reactions. Will Disney ruin Star Wars? Is Star Wars already ruined? What is this supposed to be? But even if the new Star Wars movie is a miss, one good thing came out of all this: George Lucas is donating almost all of the $4 billion Disney gave him into an educational charity. Thanks, George Lucas. You’re not such a bad guy after all. Jar-Jar Binks is still terrible though …
