When you’re reading Hamlet, one thought undoubtedly occurs to you, regardless of age, gender or reading comprehension level. And that thought is, “this is pretty good, but it would be much better as a modern-day juicy soap opera/political thriller set in Washington D.C.” Well, Fox has heard our cries and is finally giving The Bard’s classic that last little push it needs to become a true classic. America’s Son will, in fact, be “part juicy soap opera and part political thriller set in Washington D.C,” and will be based on Hamlet somehow.
