It’s all very speculative, but as Entertainment Week reports, BoyleSports, an Ireland-based online betting firm is calling Hardy the clear frontrunner, placing the odds of the Bane actor snagging the role at 2/1. Idris is behind at 3/1, Damian Lewis is 7/2, and Henry Cavill is 4/1. Further down on the list is Orlando Bloom (25/1), Michael Fassbender (6/1), and Dominic West (40/1). Is David Beckham looking for a career change? The famed soccer player made the list, coming in at 250/1.
Hardy better start looking to rent a dog tux now.
