
The rollout to the release of Jack White’s second solo studio album Lazaretto continues to pick up steam, as Rolling Stone has debuted this blusey, Mick Jagger-y, super fun number called “Just One Drink.” So far, this record is sounding dynamite. And although everything we’ve heard definitely sounds like most of Jack White’s country rock-tinged output since the dissolution of the White Stripes, it’s also sounding unusually meticulous for a man so famous for recording on the fly (granted, the title track was recorded, pressed and distributed in just four hours—a world record).
