prayerFor National Day of Prayer, Christian leaders are sending out messages encouraging people to pray.
National Day of Prayer occurs every year on the first Thursday of May, and was established by Congress in 1952.

As we honor the National Day of Prayer, let’s pray together for wisdom for our leaders, officials, civil servants and those in authority that they would seek God’s ways and that His plan will unfold. pic.twitter.com/Mv9wWaippb

Today is the National Day of Prayer in America. PLEASE set aside some time to pray for this nation, that God would draw us to Himself in a profound new way, and would direct us and would so bless us SO THAT WE CAN BLESS OTHERS beyond our shores. Amen.

Prayer is a way of life! It is our way to communicate with our Heavenly Father—an opportunity for us to bring our gratitude, needs, and concerns before Him.
So go to Him in prayer today. He’s waiting to hear you and speak to you! #NationalDayOfPrayer pic.twitter.com/FlyGktUipv

On this National Day of Prayer let’s remember one of God’s great promises. “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land” pic.twitter.com/Qbw4QEA06e

Today is the #NationalDayOfPrayer. Let’s all join together in praying for our country, our @POTUS, @VP, & all of our political leaders, regardless of their party affiliation. Pray that God would unite their hearts, & they would work together for the good of all America.
