It’s finally election day—but it doesn’t really last all day. According to The New York Times, polls begin closing at 6 p.m. Eastern tonight and continue throughout the night ending with Alaska at 1 a.m.
If you’re voting today, here are the poll closing times across the country because actually making it to the polls is a pretty important part of voting.

Polls close in the majority of Florida excluding the panhandle, Georgia, Indiana, Western Kentucky, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Vermont and Virginia
###7:30 p.m.
Polls close in North Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia
###8 p.m.
Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, the rest of Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, eastern South Dakota, Tennessee and most of Texas
