Here’s Marvel’s Newly Announced Massive Film Lineup

Hope you’re enjoying the era of superhero movies, because Marvel just held a gangbusters press conference, and we’re in for a lot more of them. Marvel Cinematic Universe head Kevin Feige gave a full breakdown of what their film roster will look like from now till 2019, replete with Captain America: Civil War (which will heavily feature Iron Man), the Doctor Strange movie (notably, Benedict Cumberbatch was not confirmed for the role, despite reports from yesterday) and a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.

That’s when things really got crazy. Following Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, we’ll get a slate of brand new heroes, including Black Panther (starring Get On Up‘s Chadwick Boseman as Marvel’s first black superhero), along with Captain Marvel (which will be Marvel’s first female-starring film) and an Inhumans movie in 2018. And there were not one, but two Avengers sequels announced: Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 in 2018 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 in 2019. There you have it.
