Legendary rock outfit U2 is preparing to release the companion album to 2014’s Songs of Innocence, and today, we got our first taste of Songs of Experience.
“The Blackout”—along with its live concert video—is a high-energy, old-school U2 anthem, with big guitars and a big chorus.
There’s no word yet on the album’s release date, but another single—called “You’re The Best Thing About Me”—is set to drop on Sept. 6.
