The Internet is not starving for covers of Toto’s “Africa,” but forgive us if we want to shoutout one in particular. This week, Weezer covered the popular hit, and man, they did a pretty awesome job.
The key here is that the band doesn’t go too bold with their interpretation. They keep it pretty faithful to the original (maybe the guitars are a little more pronounced), but if you ask us, it’s for the best. This is solid.
Now, don’t take this as invitation to produce and post and beam us with your own cover. No offense, but let’s leave this to the professionals.
