The international, uproarious, ferocious clamor for a reboot to the 2002 Scooby-Doo film based on the early ’70s TV show has finally reached a fever pitch, and Hollywood can’t ignore it anymore. It’s what the people want. Why would Hollywood spend time and money trying to make thoughtful, original, creative characters relevant to their time and place when the world so clearly just wants more Scooby-Doo movies? It’s a no-brainer really. So, yes, there’s another Scooby-Doo movie coming, just like we’ve always dreamed. In all likelihood, this one will not star Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Freddie Prinze Jr. like the 2002 film did, but one can hope.
