
Netflix has added a bunch of movies to their catalog of streaming films, and if you’re curious to see the whole list, you can read it here. But the important thing—the only thing you really need to know about this or any other event today—is that Hook is on Netflix, for you watch over and over again, as many times as you like. It’s sort of an odd movie in that it’s rated as one of Spielberg’s worst films ever by critics but, like, did these people even see Hook? What exactly about it did they not like? Robin Williams remembering how to fly? Dustin Hoffman acting like an old codfish? The late, great Bob Hoskins? In all likelihood, they’re all just boring old pirates (all grown-ups are pirates) who couldn’t bangarang with the Lost Boys.
