It’s been a long time (2011, maybe? We can’t quite remember). But it finally looks like Bon Iver is giving the world new music. Founder and frontman Justin Vernon (also of Volcano Choir) tweeted earlier today that Bon Iver perform new material at Eaux Claires Festival this August 12-13 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
The Eaux Claires Festival is hosted by Vernon and Aaron Dessner of The National.
Since we last heard from the band, Vernon has made some music with Volcano Choir. And Bon Iver actually started playing again earlier this year, too, according to Pitchfork. They’ve played throughout Asia and in Australia.
And soon they’ll be playing to you.
