In an interview with Modern Luxury magazine, long-time Saturday Night Live cast-member Jason Sudeikis hinted that last season was likely his final on the late-night sketch show. Though he didn’t definitively say that he wouldn’t return next year, quotes like this make it pretty clear he’s done with the NBC weekend staple: “It’s an emotional journey getting through a season, much less the final one.” Along with the departure of Sudeikis, there’s been a recent exodus of other major stars from the show. Last year Kristin Wiig and Andy Samberg both left SNL, and this year was the final season for Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader.
