The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon took a brief hiatus after the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida. Fallon points out the dramatic aftermath that has taken place to take gun control to the next level. Young teenagers who were victims of the shooting are using their voices to push for real change and it seems to be making an incredible impact.
The current push is a peaceful march, the March For Our Lives, on March 24 in Washington D.C. to demand action to prevent gun violence. Thousands of people, including major companies, are all planning to be in attendance.
Jimmy Fallon showed his support to the students and their efforts by pledging to join them in the march along with his wife and two children.
Fallon shares his amazement of the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School by saying, “They’re speaking out with more guts, passion, conviction and common sense than most adults. They are angry and are doing something about it and creating change. This is a real revolution.”
