Jury Duty is returning March 20 on Prime Video, and it’s trading the courtroom for the conference room.
The premise remains deliciously diabolical: one regular person, Anthony, thinks he’s starting a temp job at a family-owned hot sauce company. Plot twist — he’s actually the star of an elaborately staged reality show where every single coworker is an actor, every team-building exercise is scripted, and the company retreat he’s attending is pure theater.
If Season 1 was 12 Angry Men meets The Truman Show, Season 2 — titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat — is shaping up to be The Office meets psychological warfare. The setup pits scrappy small-business values against corporate takeover ambitions, all while Anthony remains blissfully unaware that his mundane temp gig is actually an eight-episode arc.
Prime Video is rolling out the season over three weeks: three episodes on March 20, two more on March 27, and a three-episode finale on April 3. The original series earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, plus a Peabody Award for managing to be both genuinely funny and strangely wholesome.
