Kendrick Lamar Releases Surprise Album
What do you do after you win Best Rap Album at the Grammys? Release a surprise album, of course. Kendrick’s new album, untitled unmastered., is out now and is being described as a companion album to To Pimp a Butterfly. untitled unmastered. contains eight tracks, each named “untitled” followed by a date. They appear to be tracks that were left off To Pimp a Butterfly. You may recognize a few of the tracks, such as “Untitled 03,” which he performed on Colbert, and “Untitled 08,” which he performed on Fallon, but the new follow-up project is still a delightful surprise.
