On a recent episode of her podcast, Khloé Kardashian shared how faith isn’t just a small part of her life — it’s something she structures her entire day around.
“I’m a child of God and I believe in God and that Jesus is the Son of God,” Kardashian said. “That’s my belief system, and it’s something that gets me through every day, good or bad.”
Her mornings, she explained, start with Scripture. Kardashian said she wakes up every day and opens two Bible apps on her phone, a habit she keeps consistently.
“I think it sets the tone for my day in such a beautiful way and anchors my day in gratitude,” she said.
Throughout the day, Kardashian said she talks to God through prayer, describing it as a constant source of comfort.
“I love talking to God multiple times throughout my day,” she said. “It just gives me comfort. It’s my security blanket.”
At night, that routine becomes part of family life. Kardashian said she prays with both of her children every evening, keeping the prayers short and age appropriate, before praying on her own.
“By myself, I always just thank God for the day and all of our blessings,” she said.
She was clear that gratitude—not crisis—is what motivates her prayers.
“I don’t want to just turn to God if I need something,” Kardashian said. “I want Him to know how grateful I am for everything that I have, even when something goes wrong.”
That mindset extends beyond daily routines and into the physical spaces she inhabits. Kardashian shared that while building her home several years ago, she visited the site during construction and wrote Bible verses directly onto the wooden framing.
“I wrote Bible verses that I felt were strong and positive and what I wanted this house to be rooted in,” she said.
Later in the conversation, Kardashian zoomed out and reflected on how faith has sustained her long before her current routines were in place. She described a relationship with God that’s evolved over time, including seasons of anger and distance after her father’s death, followed by a gradual return through prayer.
“The power of prayer is so real and so strong,” Kardashian said. “I know because I have so much faith.”
She pointed to praying for others through surgeries and crises and referenced ex-husband Lamar Odom’s coma as a moment that solidified her belief that God hears her.
“I know I was heard by God,” she said. “There’s just no other way. My faith does not waver.”
Kardashian emphasized that prayer doesn’t have to follow a script. She described it as conversational and ongoing, something she practices not only during crises but also during moments of gratitude and celebration.
“I’m going to pray until the cows come home or until Jesus comes back,” she said. “Whichever one.”
