Lauren Daigle Set to Perform at the Super Bowl This Sunday

Grammy-winning singer and Louisiana native Lauren Daigle will take the stage at the Caesars Superdome to perform “America the Beautiful” alongside jazz powerhouse Trombone Shorty, bringing a blend of gospel soul and brassy swagger to the pre-show lineup.

This isn’t Daigle’s first time performing on football’s biggest stages—she sang the national anthem at the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. Now, she’s adding the Super Bowl to her growing list of major sports performances.

The Super Bowl’s pre-show has seen plenty of legendary voices over the years, from Whitney Houston to Kirk Franklin. This year, Daigle will be followed by another Louisiana native, Jon Batiste, performing the national anthem, and R&B powerhouse Ledisi, who will take on “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

With the Super Bowl returning to New Orleans for the first time in over a decade, the NFL is making sure the city’s signature sound is front and center. The big game airs live on Fox.
