Zane Lowe is well-known in the radio industry. His popular Apple Music radio show, Beats 1, is a tentpole of current music taste, and Lowe himself has been called the “world’s most powerful DJ” for his ability to sell artists and lift new voices.
On Monday, Lowe selected platinum-selling worship artist Lauren Daigle for the day’s exclusive “World Record” track. The pick: “Look Up Child,” the title track from Daigle’s forthcoming album. “World Record” is a key tastemaking platform, so for an artist of Daigle’s typical labels to appear is a big deal (if you ask us, Daigle’s been defying those labels for a while now—this nod was a matter of time).
An exclusive listen of the track is available through Apple Music’s “World Record” Playlist.

Lauren Daigle is a two-time Billboard Music Award winner, and with this record, she’s going for another honor. Her voice is smoky and sweet and gives off major Amy Winehouse and Adele vibes—rare comparisons for a Christian artist.
Daigle’s album, Look Up Child, will be available everywhere Sept. 7.
