The release date for Lecrae’s Restoration has been all over the map. At one point, it was supposed to land today, May 15. But that appears to no longer be the case, as Lecrae took to Instagram to reveal that “God’s showing me some stuff.” And part of that stuff, evidently, is that we’re gonna have to wait a little longer to get Restored. “Blame God,” Lecrae says in the caption.

Lecrae opens up about losing friends to the industrial prison complex, and the “shadow of death” that he’s felt like he’s had to endure. “Shadow of death,” he says. “You know what you need for a shadow? You need light.”
“The album’s coming. God ain’t done with me …Restoration’s on the way.”
Lecrae doesn’t say here whether “on the way” means “later today” or “sometime next year,” so we at RELEVANT know about as much as you. But in the meantime, you can always check out the music video for Lecrae’s latest single “Set Me Free”, which features YK Osiris.
