
As part of a promotion for Tornado Week, The Weather Channel is running an online campaign that allows Twitter users to blow away their interns. Each time the hashtag “#TornadoWeek” is used on Twitter, the winds in the interns’ office are slightly increased. If it hits 1 million mentions, the simulated winds will reach the “effective” speed of an EF-5 tornado. (That means they feel like they’re 116 MPH). You can watch all of the action via a live video stream and even chat with the brave interns throughout the day.
