According to Entertainment Weekly, TV producer Mark Burnett is working on several more Bible-themed projects. Following the massive success of The Bible miniseries that aired on The History Channel, he said that along with working on a new scripture-based series, he has completed a movie focused on the life of Christ. ”[It’s] a three-hour version of Jesus … We’ve already done it. It’s just a matter of choosing exactly [how to release it].” The movie may be edited down to be a 10-part miniseries of its own, or could even play in arenas across the country.
