Saturday Night Live has announced that head writer Colin Jost will be joining Cecily Strong behind the “Weekend Update” anchor desk after Seth Meyers bids farewell to the show. In addition to writing for the late night show since 2005, Jost is also a stand-up comedian and a former editor of the Harvard Lampoon—the prestigious humor publication that B.J. Novak, Conan O’Brien and Greg Daniels also worked for when they attended the Ivy League School. Jost is set to make his “Weekend Update” debut on March 1 …
