Brace Yourself For a Very Intense Viola Davis in the Trailer for ‘Widows’

British director Steve McQueen has been pretty quiet since snagging the best director and best picture Oscar for 12 Years a Slave in 2014. But he’s back in a big way with the first trailer for Widows, an adaptation of Lynda La Plante’s crime novel of the same name, with a cast that’s stacked to the rafters and a trailer that will leave your heart yammering in your chest. Check it out.

Holy cow, look at that cast. Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Colin Farrell, Liam Neeson, Daniel Kaluuya, Carrie Coon, Jon Bernthal, Bryan Tyree Henry, Jackie Weaver, Elizabeth Debicki and ROBERT DUVALL?? Any one of these actors is capable of headlining a movie on their own star power, so you’ll want to make sure you’re wearing flame retardant clothing when you see this movie, which you’ll be able to do in November.
