Daniel Craig is back with that indistinguishable drawl in the first teaser for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery—and wouldn’t you know it, there’s another bizarre murder to solve.
This time, Benoit Blanc is headed straight into his Southern Gothic era. The teaser features the detective wandering through a shadowy church while a haunting rendition of “O Death” plays, claiming he’s been called in to witness a miracle. But Blanc doesn’t believe in coincidences, and it’s pretty clear to him that this “miracle” is just another body waiting to be buried.
The latest installment from writer-director Rian Johnson features an all-star cast, including Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church.
Wake Up Dead Man hits Netflix on Dec. 12.
