The Trailer for the Upcoming Keanu Reeves Angel Movie Actually Looks Pretty Funny

The final trailer for Good Fortune, Aziz Ansari’s comedic fantasy that he wrote, directed, produced and stars in, just dropped ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

Featuring Keanu Reeves as a “budget guardian angel,” Ansari’s character, a struggling gig worker, swaps places with a wealthy and arrogant venture capitalist played by Seth Rogen. Sandra Oh and Keke Palmer round out the cast.

Ansari has always been funniest when skewering the messiness of modern life—dating apps, bad jobs, awkward family dinners. Good Fortune looks like the big-screen extension of that same sensibility, with the added bonus of Reeves doling out celestial advice.

“This movie is about what a lot of people are doing — struggling,” Ansari said during a sneak preview at CinemaCon. “If you can write about things that everyone is dealing with that no one is talking about, you’re in a good area.”

The film hits theaters Oct. 17.

Editor’s note: The trailer contains some crude language.
